The SMAI Speed rope with plastic handles is a high-quality entry-level speed rope, featuring wrapped steel wire rope. The handle is constructed with a unique ball bearing handle design that allows for more speed and a smoother rotation. The 3m long wire rope (between handles) is made for optimal performance with a sleek and thin design that cuts through the air. With an original length of 3m, this can be adjusted using the screws on the handles and then shortened permanently by cutting off the excess wire.
Note: Speed cables are designed for use on gym flooring tiles. Usage of concrete, bitumen, and hard ground/dirt will significantly decrease the life of a speed rope.
